Interfaith Service
Saturday, Jan. 31, 3 p.m.
Center for Spiritual Living
2075 Occidental Rd. | Santa Rosa
Join people from all religious traditions at an interfaith gathering focusing on Healing, Unity and Hope!
Sonoma County leaders from global faith traditions will shepherd the service, a joint project of Knox Presbyterian Church, Congregation Shomrei Torah, First Congregational United Church of Christ - Santa Rosa, the Center for Spiritual Living, and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation - Santa Rosa.
The gathering is a chance for people of faith across the county to stand together in support of one another - no matter what their religious backgrounds are.
"We will affirm the harmony of the world’s faiths in promoting universal human dignity with peace, compassion and justice for all," said Pastor Christopher Thomas Bell of the Unitarian Universalist congregation in Santa Rosa.
Faith leaders from Jewish, Christian, New Thought, Unitarian Universalist, Buddhist, Hindu, and Islamic traditions will offer scriptural readings and reflections, complemented with beautiful music and joyful singing.
"In the face of division and despair, we shall awaken the sacred power of love and unite all those who would respond to its call," said Bell.
